Two major titles are highly-anticipated form the likes of Square Enix: Kingdom Hearts 3 and the Final Fantasy VII Remake. Both game have no release date information in sight and fans are only going to continue being restless.
Today the company reveals and updates the expected release time for both games. In a financial broadcasting meeting, the Japanese publisher has reiterated that both Kingdom Hearts 3 and the Final Fantasy VII Remake are both now slotted in for “FY 2018 and beyond”.
This is can come as a disappointment to many fans who are very eager to see these games come to life. Kingdom Hearts 3 was first unveiled almost five years ago and fans will have to wait for yet another year. Development cycles are becoming quite gruesome at Square Enix. Kingdom Hearts 3 has seen some issues in the early part of its development cycle whereas the Final Fantasy VII Remake has already shown off some gameplay footage since the game’s unveiling last year. However, the former has only an accumulated amount of almost 8 minutes of gameplay footage shown online. This can be quite worrisome to the clamoring fanbase.
