In the 90’s, Sierra was notorious for publishing some great PC games. Today, a few classics reached Steam.
Known for series like King’s Quest and Space Quest, the publisher is responsible for many titles. The 90’s was a crucial era for PC games, and Sierra delivered. Yesterday, a good number of original Sierra classics appeared on Steam. This, of course, isn’t the only good news!
In addition to being available through the largest online collection of games, they are part of a new and limited time only Humble Bundle. Entitled the Humble Sierra Bundle, the collection will grant you, for a single dollar, the following:
- Space Quest Collection
- Police Quest Collection
- Phantasmagoria 2
Beat the average, and you’ll add these games:
- Arcanum – Of Steamworks & Magick Obscura
- Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers
- Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within
- Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned
- Quest for Glory Collection
If you want the entire collection, you can pay $15 or more for those:
- Caesar 3
- Caesar 4
- Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved
- King’s Quest Classic Collection
- Velocity 2X
Finally, paying over $20 will give you access to the entire episode collection of the King’s Quest reboot, developed by The Odd Gentlemen.
The beauty about this bundle is that regardless of how much you pay, you have control over how the money you are spending is being directed. You choose between, Humble, Sierra and The Call of Duty Endowment, a charity that helps unemployed military veterans find jobs. Personally, I would send a third to each, but that is just me!
Please note that The Humble Sierra Bundle will only be available for the next two weeks. If you want to get the deal, I highly recommend that you act fast!
