Microsoft Announces New Xbox Wireless Adapter

Microsoft is increasing its library of cool and useful tech units with the all new Xbox Wireless Adapter. Designed for PC running on Windows 10, the new Xbox Wireless Adapter will unlock a lot more options than previous models.

A few hours ago, Microsoft unveiled their brand new tech toy, an Xbox Wireless Adapter. Set to connect wireless Xbox One controllers to the PC, this new adapter was built to offer a little more to users. Now, thanks to the new adapter, users can connect up to eight controllers at once.

In a statement, Microsoft provided a little note:

“With the new and improved Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10, you can play your favorite PC games using any Xbox Wireless Controller. Features a 66% smaller design, wireless stereo sound support, and the ability to connect up to eight controllers at once.”

As mentioned by the company, the design is smaller and a lot more efficient. With that said, the adapter in question is set for release on August 8, 2017, and will be priced at $24.99.

With the Xbox One X on the verge of release, I highly recommend PC players to get a hold of this little adapter to enhance their Windows 10 gaming experience. The new Xbox Wireless Adapter does specify that it can connect up to eight simultaneous Xbox One Wireless controllers, which is quite a feat. This will surely open more doors to multiplayer games.

We should expect a few more cool little useful tech like this one to come out in the near future. At the end of the day, Xbox One players can run their games on their PC, given that it has enough power to do so. That said, it is only natural that the PC can run games the same way an Xbox One or Xbox One X would.
