Snake Returns in Metal Gear Solid V: Definitive Edition
He kept us waiting (Huh) once again. Big Boss is back on a release product to signal his possible last adventure in Metal Gear Solid V: Definitive Edition.
Konami has unveiled a new packaged deal for all those who wished to start The Phantom Pain, but didn’t want to before playing Ground Zeroes. Instead of buying both games separately, enjoy the new Definitive Edition of MGS V.
This finalized version of the game will feature both Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain in one box and all the extra DLC released will be available as well. Konami has confirmed that the game will release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
It was rumored for months that this was going to in the works. Now, it is fact and it is possibly the only Metal Gear Solid game to ever release without the legendary Hideo Kojima available at the studio. This re-release is somewhat symbolic to the Metal Gear fans as it is a reminder that Kojima is gone and that we may never see another incredible adventure with Snake again.
A few weeks ago, at Gamescom, Konami has unveiled a new and different Metal Gear game: Metal Gear Survive. This is an online multiplayer game where some characters were transported into a different dimension and they must fight to survive in the harsh wilderness they find themselves in. As the title entails, the game will focus more on survival than stealth and will use the FOX engine seen in both of the Metal Gear Solid V games.
It is confirmed that this remastered package will be releasing on all major platforms on October 13th. All of you who haven’t had the chance to enjoy Snake’s last adventure on the original releases can do so in a single purchase this time.
