Biggest Pokemon Sun & Moon Launch Party in Montreal Announced

Fan of Pokemon? Are you in the Montreal Area? Expecting to get your copy of Pokemon Sun & Moon?

In celebration of the Pokemon Sun & Pokemon Moon release, Geekittude, in collaboration with IMGMR, will be organizing a massive 3-day Pokemon Festival. If you are a fan of Pokken Tournament, the Pokemon Trading Card Game, and Pokemon VG (video games), your thirst will be doused

From November 17th, until the 19th, video game and TCG store Geekittude will have tons of cool activities and tournaments going on. Throughout the entire festival, tons of cool prizes will be granted to winners, and given to participants.

The program goes as follows:

Day 1 – Day 2 (November 17 & 18)

  • Launch of Pokemon Sun & Pokemon Moon (Midnight) & VG Tournament
  • 1st Place Winner = Copy of Pokemon Sun or Pokemon Moon
  • 2nd Place Winner = In Store Credit*
  • 3rd Place Winner = In Store Credit
  • (+++Surprise Gifts+++)

Day 2 (November 18)

  • Pokken Tournament
  • Pot to be split between 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place
  • Participants get a chance to win a copy of Pokemon Sun or Pokemon Moon

 

Day 3 (November 19)

  • Pokemon TCG Tournament (Sanctioned)
  • 150$ In Cash for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Winners
  • Participants get to win:
  • An Elite Trainer Box
  • A Copy of Pokemon Sun or Pokemon Moon
  • A Booster Box

 

Additonally, Geekittude confirmed that there will be more goodies to be distributed throughout the event. Finally, there will be a GRAND PRIZE.

Every time you participate at an event, you get a ticket towards the final draw. Also, purchasing over 20$ will also grant you a ticket to the raffle. On the last day, on November 19th during the evening, a Grand Winner will be chosen and will go home with a brand-new Nintendo 3DS handheld console!

Geekittude is located at 2107 Ste-Catherine East (corner De Lorimier) downtown Montreal. There will be no age restriction. The event is open to all Pokemon fans of all ages.
