xPeke To Start Second Match For Origen

For the second match of the week for Origen, team owner Enrique “xPeke” Cedeño Martinez will start in the mid lane instead of PowerOfEvil.

The news was announced on stream by Eefje “sjokz” Depoortere:

In the eight week of action for the European League of Legends Championship series, Tristan “PowerOfEvil” Schrage had to miss both matches due to him being sick. xPeke had to step in and Origen won both of their games.

During both of these games, Xpeke managed a 2.5 KDA, playing on Corki and Leblanc. While PowerofEvil has amassed a 3.76 KDA across 15 games this split.

Origen will be playing their last game of the split versus Fnatic today.

Both teams played their first match against each other on the first day on the EU LCS as is the tradition for both previous split finalist. The game went Fnatic’s way taking it convincingly in 35 minutes with almost a 20k gold difference. Gamsu had arguably his best game of the split, single handedly carrying the game with his Olaf play.

Currently in the standings, Fnatic are in the 6th place with a 9-8 record and Origen are 4th place with a 10-7 record. The match has a huge outcome in Europe, meaning that if Origen win this game they guarantee themselves the 4th place and if Fnatic win combined with a Unicorns of Love loss, we would have a 3-way tie for 4th place.

If you are an owner of PowerofEvil in Fantasy your surely are disappointed with this outcome, but if you are an Origen fan you might like this news as the team performs better with their owner starting in the mid lane.
