UPDATED: Left Alive Revealed As New IP From Square Enix

SQUARE ENIX today revealed LEFT ALIVE , a brand-new survival action shooter coming to the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and STEAM in 2018.

Veteran developers Toshifumi Nabeshima (director, Armored Core series), Yoji Shinkawa (character designer, METAL GEAR series), and Takayuki Yanase (mech designer, Ghost in the Shell: AriseMobile Suit Gundam 00, Xenoblade Chronicles X) join forces to create LEFT ALIVE’s dark and gritty world.

A new trailer unveiled today at the 2017 PlayStation Press Conference in Japan teases the concept for LEFT ALIVE, and is available at:

So far, what we know about Left Alive can be deduced from the trailer. The game seems to be set in a dystopian world and as the title suggests, you will have to survive in this harsh environment. Knowing this is an action shooter, it will probably have some sort of online multiplayer where players can band together to survive.

Stay tuned for more information later this week!

UPDATE: New Trailer Shows Seconds of Gameplay

A second trailer was revealed today and if you pay close attention until the very end, you will notice very brief moments of gampelay. We know that will be set in the near future, specifically the year 2127. We should be expecting a war-torn world played in third-person view. I don’t know about you guys, but everything looks quite interesting. We don’t much besides that the game should arrive at some point in 2018. What did you all think about LEFT ALIVE?
