Easyhoon, Marin and T0M leaving SKT T1

The top laner Jang “MaRin” Gyeong-hwan, mid laner Lee “Easyhoon” Ji-hoon and substitute jungler  Im “T0M” Jae-hyeon are all leaving the reigning World Champion SKTelecom T1 the team announced on Wednesday.

The biggest blow to the team is losing top laner and World Championship MVP Jang “MaRin” Gyeong-hwan, not only the team captain and main shot caller for the Korean team, but he was also considered the best Top laner in the world. It will not easy to replace a player of caliber, but anyone can do it SKT can, just like when they had to replace Impact.

With Faker renewing his contract for another year, it was obvious that Lee “Easyhoon” Ji-hoon was potentially on his way out to start on his own team. He is regarded as arguably the best mid laner in the world behind his teammate, and some analyst would put him in first place.

T0M is a up and coming rookie who did not have the chance to participate at the last World Championship. Substituting for Bengi, he also would not have the chance to start alot in the upcoming split. He did go 6-0 in the summer split with a KDA of  3.71 KDA.

It has not been announced yet where all three of them will be competing next, but fresh of a Summoner’s Cup win, they will not have to wait too long before team from all across the world line-up to acquire their services.
