CS:GO Esl Esea Pro League Finals Group Draw
Eight teams made it to the group stage of the ESL ESEA Pro League S2 finals and the draw has finally taken place.
It is inside ESL’s Burbank studios, in Los Angeles, that the second season of the ESL ESEA Pro League will come to an end after a long online season, the offline finals will be taking place from December 10th until December 13th.
The top four teams from the North American and European divisions will fight and give their all for a part of the 250,000$ prize pool.
“The tournament format has been adjusted since last season in response to feedback from pro players and the community”, ESL has said. The finals will start off with a group stage with two groups of four teams. The matches will be best of three played out in double elimination. The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, which will be single elimination. The semifinals will be best of three while the grand final will be a best of five.
The groups for the finals are based on the team placement in the season standings of each division and are as follows:\
|Group A||Group B|
It would’ve been nice to see Cloud9 in the finals but with the recent events following Seangares departure, we will not see them for a few more weeks in tournaments like that.
EnVyUS, Fnatic and TSM are more likely to make it to the semifinals with Na’Vi and LG fighting for the last spot. Since after the Dreamhack Winter 2015, we can expect great things from LG as they managed to make it to the finals and showed some amazing plays.
