artwork-feraligatr-1

Stand aside Charizard and make way for the crock of the water my good old buddy Feraligatr. Being one of my favorite Pokémon of all time, it’s only normal a deck overview including him would be made.

Summary:feraligatr-card-1

Now with a lot of competitive decks revolving around Archie’s Blastoise, Yveltal and Nightmarch, IMGMR figured why not make a unique deck that with enough tweaking can actually compete with higher level deck around

Energy – 12

9 Water Energy

3 Double Colorless Energy

Now with the list all done, let’s get down to business. Our main focus here is getting Feraligatr set up and ready to roll. He does a crazy amount of damage while not being an EX himself. His first attack not only does a good amount of damage but can potentially remove all energies from the defending Pokémon rendering it useless. Make sure to give a good trick coin to increase those energy removal chances and you’re good to go.

His second ability works well if the defending Pokémon has at least one damage counter on it. 160 full blast damage is usually nearly enough to one shot any regular Pokémon and some EX’s since well they already have either 1 or 2 damage counters on them.

Supporting our star player are Palkia EX, Kyurem EX and lastly Manaphy EX. Palkia helps setup all our water type creatures with ease since every attack gives us the chance to attach 2 water energies to one of our benched Pokémon. Manaphy, will help the whole retreating aspect of things since well everyone will have at least 1 water energy attached to them.

Lastly, we have Kyurem EX. Our main star Feraligatr needs at least one damage counter for our second attack to do 160 damage. Kyurem will ensure that by using his Glaciate attack; it does 30 damage to every Pokémon on the side of the opponent’s field.

So there you have it everyone, another powerful water deck to enjoy have fun and potential pwn all your friends, since well, they will not see this one coming.
