How Was E3? Pamela Horton Overwhelmed by Zelda (Uncut Interview)

E3 2016 is over for some time now, but the hype keeps on making waves of interesting post content – fans sharing what really stirred their hearts, critics giving their ten cents on how the show was compared to past years – everyone online is expressing what E3 meant for them.

This time around, we have decided to reach out the community’s ‘go to’ personalities. As our first guest, we reached out to Pamela Horton, Playboy’s Miss October 2012 and one of the faces of Gamer Next Door. Pamela is a gamer and trust me, she takes gaming and all related discussion at heart – it is always a pleasure to see her in L.A. during our visit to E3 every year. As a person with so much energy and great gaming knowledge, she is the perfect person to ask about E3.

Salim: How was your E3?

Pamela: IT WAS AWESOME! I still can’t believe I am able to go every year… It’s a dream.

Salim: Where there any games that you have liked? Any that you have disliked?

Pamela: I’m head over heels with the new Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It’s beautiful and expands a franchise that I love so so much. I got to play it and enjoyed it immensely. I get jittery every time I think about how amazing that game is going to be in my hands.

I was super excited for Fallout 4 VR, but when I played it it wasn’t fleshed out nearly as much as I thought it would be. Target practice and bodies you can’t loot. Obviously that’s going to build into more, but… Demos are supposed to get you hyped (Legend of ZELDA!)

Salim: In your opinion, what would have made this E3 a lot better for you?

Pamela: My entire E3 was completely obliterated by the fact that I got to meet Miyamoto. I can’t believe I was able to meet him. He signed my DS, we took a selfie, he bowed so very politely… It was all incredibly surreal. What is my life, even?!

Salim: What are you expecting for next year’s E3?

Pamela: I feel the next console war is gonna start next year. Let’s see which game companies think they have the bigger dick. XD

Salim: Out of all of the games on the Show Floor, which was the best one?

Salim: Out of all of the reveals (trailers included), which game are you
most excited about?
