Nintendo E3 Spotlight 2017 – A Special IMGMR Coverage

As usual not holding a formal and traditional E3 conference, Nintendo is broadcasting their E3 reveals. So, here is a wrap-up for all the Nintendo E3 news.

Titles “Nintendo E3 Spotlight 2017”, the Japanese giant is set to prepare waves of new reveals and announcements for all the upcoming games coming in on the still-running Nintendo 3DS as well as the fresh new Nintendo Switch. This year, Nintendo is getting to reveal more information on the upcoming Super Mario Odyssey as well as many other titles.

Nintendo Spotlight – Timing and Details

When : Tuesday June 13th 2017 starting at 9 Am local time (12PM EST)

Expected Games & Reveals : No doubt the Nintendo Switch will be the center-piece for the E3 announcmeents. Here is what is expected to be revealed:

  • Super Mario Odyssey
  • Fire Emblem Warriors
  • Xenoblade Chronicles 2
  • ARMS
  • Splatoon 2
  • New functionalities for the Switch

If we stick to the leaks and rumors that have been fluckering about, There should be news about the upcoming Mario X Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, a new Metroid game as well as the Beyond Good & Evil 2 and more. Not much has been revealed besides the major leak on Mario X Rabbids. In other news, Nintendo will also be holding its Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3 2017.

As usual, the streaming will be playing throughout E3 hours and will be showcasing different games that will be revealed during the Nintendo Spotlight.

Nintendo Spotlight News

  • A new trailer starts off showing a few games they will talking about including ARMS, Rocket League, Splatoon 2 and Fifa 18.
  • Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is back with a brand new trailer showing off the new world and characters. New faces and new blades will come with a new world that is pretty different from the first. The game is confirmed for Holiday 2017.
  • A new Kirby game shows its face and he is not alone.  This Kirby platformer will allow the hero to fuse different powers together and make certain enemies become your ally. Cooperative play will no doubt play a big role. The game is yet untitled and will come in 2018.
  • The President of The Pokemon Company has confirmed a brand new core Pokemon game is in development for the Nintendo Switch.
  • Metroid Prime 4 has just been confirmed to be in development for the Nintendo Switch.
  • A New Yoshi game shows itself that will feature cooperative play between two Yoshis. The game is a mixture of 2D and 3D platforming. The game will release in 2018.
  • Fire Emblem Warriors comes to take the stage with a new trailer. We see many cinematic cutscenes showing Marth, Chrom, Corrin, Ryoma and Xander.
  • The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild returns a very successful launch. This time, we see the titles of the DLC plans: Master of Trials and the Champion’s Ballad. The first will come on June 30th 2017 while the second will follow this Holiday season. The Master of Trials DLC pack will bring Master Mode which is a harder and unforgivable mode. The Trial of the Sword will also come as an extensive trial where Link seems to no be wearing any armor.
  • Rocket League is fully announced through a reveal trailer coming Holiday 2017. There is also going to be exclusive content only for the Switch version.
  • Finally, Super Mario Odyssey returns to the stage with a brand new trailer showing off more of the many things you can do. The game will be coming on October 27th 2017.
