EA Play 2017 – A Special IMGMR Coverage

Welcome, dear gamers, to our center of EA E3 information. This is where you can keep track of all things EA will have to show for!

For those of you who haven’t heard, EA Play 2017 is the separate festival EA has concocted to show off their games, announcements and more. This is the second year EA has opted for this format. Here are the details you will need to know regarding EA’s games.

EA Play 2017 – Timings, Games & Live Stream

Where : Hollywood Paladium (about 11km from the Los Angeles Convention Center)

Date : 10th to 12th of June 2017

Conference : 10th of June 2017 from 12:00PM local time (3:00PM EST)

EA Play 2017 is inviting a very familiar hip hop face. Attendees will be able to enjoy a nice presentation from the legendary NaS and his protege Dave East. There is also going to be DJ Green Lantern who will be joining. Be on the lookout as more celebrities are no doubt making an appearance there.

EA Play 2017 – Live Announcements

EA Play 2017 News:

  • Madden Football 18 has been revealed with a brand new story mode. This story mode is titled “Long Shot”.
  • Battlefield 1 Producer, Andrew Gulotta, has come to showcase new content for the game. Introducing new maps including Niville Nights and Prise de Tahure. The new DLC In The Name of Tsar will bring new night maps, new missions, new weapons and the new Russian army.
  • EA unveils the biggest FIFA eSport league. Competition in FIFA will be like no other. Madden NFL will also be part of this league.
  • FIFA 18 was next to be unveiled with a gameplay footage. Men in Blazers have come on stage to show off Alex Hunter’s next adventure. Will he be transferred or will he stay?
  • Need for Speed Payback has just been revealed and we see the beautiful Regera in the gameplay trailer. This time around there will be missions where certain objectives need to be completed. So it is no longer about finishing first in the race all the time. The game will offer a lot more versatility. There also elements form the Burnout series with emphasized crashes.
  • Introducing EA Originals, where new games will be made in-house. Showing off the new title A Way Out, the game focuses on two convicts finding a way out of prison. They have to work together in cooperative play.The game is only played in split-screen either online or locally. Each character is controlled by one player. A Way Out releases early 2018.
  • EA Reveals the Seed, a brand new developing team working at EA. They will be able to bring new levels of high definition graphics.
  • Bioware’s newest IP is Anthem. More information will be shared during the Xbox briefing.
  • NBA Live 18 is next on the list. A very short gameplay footage showed a bit on how deep it goes. They also revealed The One. Now, players need to be reputation in leagues and in the streets. Level up and get new gear and travel all over the states.
  • Star Wars Battlefront II 30-minute gameplay footage was showcased. EA heard the tweet that John Boyega posted back in March and it is time we get a full offline Story Mode. This story will link up Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi and Episopde VII: The Force Awakens. It will have 3x more content than the first one. The game will have new classes, new weapons and much more. Finally, all DLC will be free for all owners of Star Wars Battlefront II.
