Fans have already begun deciphering all that they can in the world of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This is dedication at its best!
In the demo of the new Zelda game, there were a lot of inscriptions that we saw on doors and walls on the towers and Shrines. These actually mean something and can be deciphered. In fact, this is exactly whart the fans have done and the alphabet is actually almost complete. Here is a picture of their progress:
The deciphering began once one NeoGAF user began deciphering using the symbols that translated into The Legend of Zelda. With those amount of letters, it became much easier to begin deciphering other words such as Dungeon and SHEIKTOWER. The word Dungeon was seen on the door of the Shrine while the word SHEIKTOWER was found along the rims of the towers seen all over the land.
The commnunity has already begun deciphering all kinds of things, but none of them give us any extra information on the lore of clues about the Sheikah or anything. It seems we will have to wait to see more gameplay before we can find out more about this brand new world. There are still so many secrets to uncover and according to Eiji Aonuma, there will be enough secrets to keep us busy for a very long time.
The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild is set to release on both Wii U and NX in 2017. It will be the biggest Zelda game to date and there will be enough content to explore for hours. We also voted Zelda as our game of the show for E3 2016.
