There is a new set of big guns by Acer and it features some of the best benchmark stats ever seen in a gaming laptop.
Gaming laptops are like super-cars, each company tries to dish out the best stats at ridiculous prices. Only a few will have the money to purchase it. However, benchmark like those will last a while before they become obsolete. The Acer Predator 21X is no exception. It was built using the latest in gaming and computing technology:
- 21-inch 2560 x 1080 resolution IPS display
- 2x GeForce GTX 1080X GPU
- NVIDIA SLI Tech
- Intel Core i7 Kaby Lake Processor
- 4x DDR4 Slots (Supports up to 64GB of RAM)
- Supports up to Four 512 GB SSD
- 2x NVMe PCIe SSDs Support
- 17.6 Pounds (Weight)
When you break it down and look at the stats as a singularity, it comes to no surprise to learn that the machine costs up to $8,999. Of course, you can settle for a less expansive model, the Predator 17X, with smaller screen and less power for $2,599. It was said that it will be available later this month. However, heftier models haven’t yet been confirmed whether they will be available simultaneously.
The Verge mentioned that the Predator 17X will be available later this month. However, when it came down to the 21X, they reported that Acer announced at CES 2017 the price as well as its availability starting in February.
The Predator 21X is without a doubt a monstrous machine with tremendous potential. As mentioned in my title, it is as heavy as it is powerful – 17.6 pounds is no laughing matter!
