A new sequel to the Xenoblade series was revealed during the Nintendo Switch presentation, Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
Xenoblade fans have been asking for a sequel to Xenoblade Chronicles and today, developer Monolith Studios delivered. During the Nintendo Switch Presentation conference, Nintendo, the publisher in this case, shared a new world premiere trailer of the sequel everyone was waiting for, Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
The sequel was unveiled accompanied by a 2 minute trailer showing off the amazing and gorgeous landscapes the game will offer. Basic gameplay mechanics such as walking, running and riding on mounts were demonstrated in the video.
From the get go, you have a voice saying that they will be going to Elysium for them. We don’t know for sure who is talking, but my guess is a good as anyone else. I believe that the character we see walking around in the trailer is the one talking, and he is addressing the young lady with red hair we see a little later in the trailer. He later states that he isn’t going to let them stand in her way! Does that imply that the female character need to do something important and an evil force is trying to stop her?
In the trailer, we also get a glimpse of a blonde-haired woman. How are all three characters linked to one another?
At the time being, details fail to mention any official release date. As it turns out, for Xenoblade Chronicles 2, we don’t even have a release window. One thing is certain, the game won’t be out on the Switch on launch day. Should we expect to see more details at E3 or Tokyo Game Show?
