No Season Pass For Mass Effect: Andromeda

In a twitter exchange with Bioware general manager, it was confirmed that Mass Effect: Andromeda will not have any Season Pass.

The Mass Effect series is getting a new title set to join the roster, Andromeda. With the game on its way, many questions revolving around its release and in-game content are being asked by the community. Everyone wants to know what to expect. One of the most typical questions was asked directly to Bioware general manager Aaryn Flynn. His reply was as clear as crystal.

Now, thanks to the official reply from Flynn, we can confirm that Mass Effect: Andromeda won’t have any Season Pass. However, details regarding DLC have yet to be shared. At this point, additional content can either be distributed for free, paid as a bundle, or available for purchase individually. When the question popped, Flynn replied, saying that the company will “talk more about that later”.

Mass Effect is known for delivering new content through DLC. The series has quite a history; some of the content featured story packs (expansions), locked story characters, and item booster packs for the multiplayer mode. Some of them have drawn criticism, like many of the DLC out there.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is scheduled for release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on March 21, 2017.
