I have been waiting for this day to come. I… I didn’t think it would ever happen. Now, I can rest easy.
That’s right, folks: the PlayStation Vita has finally gotten past the one million sales milestone in Japan. Took long enough, too. After 42 long weeks, the Sony handheld has reached this point. The 3DS, on the other hand, past the one million sales checkpoint in about 13 weeks, with the PSP crossing the finish line after 14 weeks. The handheld was released in its country of origin in December of 2011, coming Stateside a couple of months later, in February 2012.
